Set in a peaceful residential area on the outskirts of Newcastle city centre, the hotel is ideally located for those who want to visit the main attractions of the area.
Renowned for the warmth of its welcome, the friendliness of its staff and the level of its efficiency, the hotel is provides an ideal base from which to explore Newcastle’s bustling centre. 2 metro stations are found within a 10 minute walk. Buses are also easily accessible.
In the evenings you can unwind in the comfort of the hotel where you can sample the varied à la carte menu in the small restaurant. Vegetarians are also well catered for.

The restaurant is open for 'Early Bird' dining Monday - Saturday from 17:00 - 19:00. À la carte dining is available from 17:00 - 21:30.
The well-stocked bar has always been a popular meeting place for residents and diners alike. Unlike many hotels who shut their bars at 23:00 leaving the customer with the dreaded night porter warm cans of lager, Jesmond's operate a full bar service up until 02:00 if required!
By Car:
From the north:
- Take the A696 approaching Tyneside.
- At the intersection with the A1, go across onto the A167.
- This road becomes a motorway (A167m) as you approach Newcastle city centre.
- Leave this road onto the A1058 - Tynemouth Road, where you will merge with traffic arriving from the opposite direction.
- Once you have merged, you will quickly encounter traffic lights at a very busy junction; turn left.
- You are now on Osborne Road. The Jesmond is 800 metres ahead, on your right.
From the west:
- Take the A69 approaching Tyneside.
- At the intersection with the A1, turn left (north) for 2 junctions.
- Then, turn right onto the A167.
- Then, as above.
From the south:
- Take the A1(m) approaching Tyneside.
- Immediately after the services at Washington, exit onto the A167 - Gateshead South.
- You will travel for approximately 3 miles, passing through the towns of Low Fell and Gateshead.
- Eventually you will cross the river on the famous Tyne Bridge.
- When you have crossed the bridge, the road becomes the A167 (m), signposted the north.
- After just half a mile you will exit onto the A1058 - Tynemouth Road.
From this point, follow the instructions above (from the north).
